Hidden Sanctuary

I am fortunate to work in an environment that encourages me to walk and spend time outdoors. I know the area very well. Outside, nature is my haven, and this area has many unusual things including landscape opportunities. There are several farms nearby that offer amazing views. It has not been uncommon for me to arrive well before sunrise, experiencing the morning fog, or be seen on a nearby roadway taking photos from the bed of my truck.

I have been known to stay late, so I can investigate a decaying tree trunk for mushrooms. Many people seem to be fearful of wildlife, but it is the animals, such as insects, that fill the environment that I love. I am here to embrace it. Here are some of the beautiful creatures that live here.
