More from our seaworthy adventure
Serenity in the Storm was not the first image of this week-long adventure; it was one of the last. The first images from this excursion were a series of scenes of a beautiful snail. His beautiful burnt orange shell was in great contrast to the salt and pepper color of the asphalt, and I loved the contrast in texture. Texture is one of my favorite things to photograph and Steve, the snail, offered a fun opportunity. As I mentioned in my initial post, sometimes the subject matter might seem silly. But what is really silly, is to see an adult woman laying in the middle of the street photographing a snail.
… Next week we will look at what was hidden in the woods. What is it Tommy asked? I replied, "I am not sure!"
